Who is Abigail?
Growing up and childhood
Growing up as the youngest of three in the capital of Wales was and still is quite an adventure. I have participated in many activities outside of school, such as swimming, karate, rugby, and dance, while also doing extras inside of school: smoke bug, eco council, and choir. But during my time in high school, I got serious about certain hobbies other than dance. Which is why I had singing lessons for three years, on top of doing music GCSE, and performed in the school's theatre productions for the last two years, on top of doing drama GCSE. With everything I have done in my life and all of the family I have from different countries, all with different backgrounds, it has made me a person who loves to learn about other people, cultures, and life as a whole.

What I stand for
Being interested in learning about different culters and peoples experinces has allowed me to become a person who refuses to judge others. This is because I stand for equality for everyone, since everyone deserves to have the right to their own bodies, what happens to them, and what they do with them. I believe that no one on this planet should feel unsafe because of the colour of their skin, who they are attracted to, or what they identify as. No one should be scared to be themselves. No one should be held back or given less opportunities just because of who they are. As long as what you do and who you are doesn't hurt yourself or anyone else, you deserve to live your life in happiness.
Besides dance
In my life currently, dance is my main priority, whether I am performing it or creating it. But there are other things that I love and that I do in my spare time. As I have spoken about before, I have trained in singing for three years and love to practise even if it's just for fun. However, I also love writing my own songs and have a strong passion for music, wanting to learn as many instruments as possible and create as many songs that can impact people as possible. This is because, throughout my life, I have always loved and had an obsession with writing, whether that is stories, plays, or, as previously stated, songs. I get fascinated by how so few letters, ordered in a certain way, can mean something and how those same letters can help and affect others. I have been told in the past that I am an adventurous person, being unable to stay still and wanting to see as much of the world as I can. I love nature and, as a result, love to capture it in pictures. Whenever there is a nice sunset, flower, animal, or star, I love to capture them so I can look at them even in the future. Whether I am in the city or the countryside, everything and everyone has beauty, and because of my love for it all, I have gained a love and interest for photography, resulting in me taking it for GCSE. I have now gathered quite a large sum of photos, many of which I have just taken on my phone, not including those I have taken on my camera. Besides the performing arts (dance, music, and photography), I like learning different languages in my spare time. I am currently learning Korean, Spanish, and Welsh and love finding words or phrases that don't necessarily exist in English. Being able to communicate with others in their native language gives me such a sense of happiness and lets me feel as if I am more connected with the world.
